The Cavallo Repair Process

Our repair process is simple... call us first. Cavallo will assist you with reporting the claim and making all necessary arrangements to have your vehicle inspected at one of our three locations. To insure proper repair, we will negotiate the claim with the insurance company on your behalf.

Step 1: Damage Assessment

Pre wash vehicle and assess the damages. Compile a list of necessary operations and parts required to restore vehicle to pre-loss condition or better.

Step 2: Insurance Company Inspection

Arrange meeting with insurance company representative and thoroughly explain all operations and parts needed to repair your vehicle and order parts.

Step 3: Disassembly

Disassemble vehicle and determine any unforeseen or hidden damage that was not validated on the first inspection. Document with insurance representative and commence repairs.

Step 4: Structural & Body Repairs

In the structural/body repair area, all structural damages will be completed using a dedicated fixture and/or a computerized measuring system depending on the structural composition of your vehicle be it aluminum, steel or both.

All metal finishing and straightening repair work is completed at this time along with gauging all openings and seams.

Step 5: Paint Prep & Refinishing

Paint preparation is a critical step in the refinishing process of every vehicle. Along with duplicating factory caulking and undercoats, all panels are carefully prepped, primed and sealed to ensure proper adhesion when the final top color and clear coat is applied.

Step 6: Reassembly

Vehicle is meticulously put back together and all systems are checked and calibrated to factory settings. All moldings & trim are installed and checked for proper fit & alignment.

Step 7: Final Cleaning for Delivery

A thorough cleaning of your vehicle takes place at this point and a pre-delivery inspection is performed. A checklist is turned in and a final invoice is prepared.

Step 8: Finished Product

When a customer arrives to pick up their vehicle the repairs are explained and the final paperwork is completed. The customer drives away in a safe, factory correct vehicle. Success!!
