Cavallo Auto Body began in 1958 when Joe Cavallo of Drexel Hill set out to create an experience with a body shop a little different than what people were accustomed to — great customer service, superior workmanship, and a clean, professional environment.
Our Legacy
For over 60 years, Cavallo has been proudly restoring damaged vehicles — all makes and all models — throughout Philadelphia and the Tri-State area to manufacturer-specified condition.
We do not use cheap aftermarket replacement parts for your repair. Rather, we use parts that were incorporated with the original specifications of your vehicle — because your car deserves nothing less.

If you don't have time to bring us your vehicle, we'll come get it for you. Pickup and delivery at your convenience.

If you need a rental while we repair your vehicle, we'll arrange to have one waiting for you when you drop off your car.

If there are any questions regarding the repair process, we will help you every step of the way — from drop-off to delivery.

In the event your vehicle is deemed a total loss, we will help you understand the evaluation and answer any questions you may have.

1958
Founded
Joe Cavallo opens Cavallo Auto Body in Drexel Hill, PA — built on a commitment to superior workmanship, customer service, and a clean professional facility.
1990s
Growth
Expanded to serve all makes and models throughout greater Philadelphia and the Tri-State area, building a reputation for precision and reliability.
2000s
Certifications Begin
Began pursuing manufacturer certifications, investing in factory equipment, training, and dedicated aluminum repair infrastructure — becoming one of the most certified facilities in Pennsylvania.
2010s
Major Milestones
Achieved Mercedes-Benz Elite Tier II Aluminum Structural Repair Certification — the first and longest-tenured facility in Pennsylvania. Became the first Porsche Approved Collision Center in the state.
Today
Present
Three locations — Chadds Ford, Drexel Hill, and Newtown Square — certified by Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Jaguar/Land Rover, and BMW. OEM parts exclusively. Over 65 years of continuous operation and counting.
