About Cavallo Auto Body
For over 65 years, Cavallo Auto Body has set the standard for collision repair in the Philadelphia region. Founded in 1958, we have grown from a single shop in Drexel Hill into a multi-location, manufacturer-certified repair facility trusted by drivers of the world's most demanding vehicles.
"The first sign of a good repair is no sign at all."
Our Story
Cavallo Auto Body was founded in 1958 by Joe Cavallo in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. His vision was simple but powerful: create a body shop that felt different, one where customers were treated with respect, workmanship was never compromised, and the facility was always clean and professional.
That vision took root. Over the following decades, Cavallo grew steadily, earning a reputation throughout the greater Philadelphia area as the shop that treated every vehicle and every customer as if they were family.
Today, that founding philosophy still guides every repair at every one of our three locations. The names may have grown, and the certifications may have multiplied, but the commitment Joe Cavallo made in 1958 remains unchanged.
What Sets Us Apart
We're not a typical body shop. Every decision we make — from the parts we order to the training we invest in — reflects a commitment to returning your vehicle exactly as its manufacturer intended.
01
We never substitute cheap aftermarket parts. Every repair uses genuine manufacturer components — protecting your vehicle's safety, warranty, and resale value.
02
Four active certifications from Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Jaguar/Land Rover, and BMW — more than any other shop in Pennsylvania.
03
Our technicians receive ongoing training directly from manufacturers, including specialized aluminum structural repair and ADAS recalibration.
04
Joe Cavallo insisted on a clean, well-kept shop in 1958 — and that standard holds today. Our facilities reflect the care we put into every repair.
05
We handle pickup, delivery, rental coordination, and insurance advocacy so you don't have to. Your only job is to drop off the keys.
06
Over six decades of continuous operation in the Delaware Valley. Families who came to us in the 1970s still bring their cars to us today.
If you’ve been in an accident, you don’t have to navigate the process alone.
